These are the three values that Wreaths Across America instills in people from all across the globe. Remember our fallen Veterans. Honor those who serve. Teach our children the value of freedom.
What started in 1992 as one man’s annual gift to our veterans, inspired a legion of volunteers and gave rise to the Wreaths Across America of today. In 2022, 2.7 million veterans wreaths were placed at 3,702 participating locations. More than two million volunteers helped to place wreaths, a third of whom were children.
This year the Leland Historical Society is proud to announce that it is sponsoring a site-Leland Cemetery.
We need your help. The easiest way for you to get involved is to sponsor a wreath for $17. And/or volunteer! Volunteer to place wreaths on a veteran’s grave here in Leland or at any of the participating locations.
There are 159 veterans graves at Leland Cemetery. Let’s shoot for a wreath for each grave!
To sponsor a wreath for a veteran

- To sponsor any veteran at Leland Cemetery, fill in # of wreaths to be sponsored and click “Review my sponsorships”
- To sponsor a specific veteran, click on Grave Specific and fill out the form
